Panaji is the seat of administration in Goa. It is situated in a Tiswadi sub division. Although the Portuguese have left Goa many years ago, this beautiful city is still the treasure trove of many wonderful memories of the Portuguese rule. The nearest railhead is at Karmali, only 5 km away. National Highway 17 passes through the city. Communication is never a big problem here.
